Death shocks Sidney community of linoleum expert
Kenneth Walkinshaw about 35 died in a Denver hospital two days after a heart disorder and a 13 hour operation. He worked for Sidney Flooring & Supply Co and was a resident of Sidney for 14 years. He is survived by his wife and one daughter. He previously worked at Sioux Army Depot. Funeral plans were not yet set.

Mayer Rites Set At Dalton On Saturday
Funeral services for Edward A. Mayer 82 longtime Cheyenne County resident will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Dalton Presbyterian Church with Rev E L Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Dalton Cemetery. Mayer born October 14 1880 in Winterset Iowa was married to Minnie Halston and had four children Arthur L Leonard S Rowena Busacker and Marina Wiggins all alive in Cheyenne. Surviving siblings include Lizzie Carter Pearl Peterson Marie Haack Elmer Mayer and Charles Mayer. He lived on a Dalton area farm, then Deshler and Sidney before death.

Neilson is accused of writing checks over 150 dollars and passing them at the Brandin' Iron last August. Coday, 19, Sterling, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering an automobile and was placed on two years probation with a $100 fine and restitution for damages to a car owned by Darold Thomas.
