Tonight the Ralph Panabakers open their wheat farm display 7 miles southeast of Dalton with three new features including an animated star of 150 bulbs. The Nativity scene, Santa's Workshop, an organ manikin, Rudolph and four reindeer, and three carolers join the lights as visitors are invited nightly through New Year’s.

Trailer Destroyed in Ogallala Fire Near Lake McConaughy
A trailer at Shore Lake Lodge on Lake McConaughy near Ogallala burned Monday after a wind gust blew a burning weed under it. Carla Gillham, 2, was rescued from inside the trailer as family members, including Mrs Carter, fought flames with garden tools. Mrs Carter suffered burns to her hands, while Gillham and Mrs Gillham sustained facial burns. the trailer and furnishings were a total loss.

Mishap at 19 30 Junction In Nebraska
A highway crash at the junction of Highways 19 and 30 near Sidney involved a semi truck and a passenger car. Richard J. Stava, 26, Rushville Neb., driving a 1955 car, was confused at the junction and struck the semi driven by James D. Fleming, 29, Piedmont SD. The truck sustained no damage while the car was damaged costing about 709 dollars. Stava sustained minor injuries.

Ten Car Crash Victims Fall Toward Recovery at Local Hospital
Cheyenne County Memorial Hospital records show all ten injured in last Monday’s west Sidney crash are recovering. Dan Lauder was dismissed Tuesday. Calvin Pay Crites and Reid McCoy were discharged today. Antonio Gutierrez, Roy Crates, and Jess McCoy were in satisfactory condition, Augustine Jaminez listed good. Alva Hamby and Ralph Crates remained in fair condition.

Police Report Two Traffic Accidents
City police reported two traffic accidents yesterday with no injuries. Grace Meysenburg, 31, struck a car backing from the curb on 11th Avenue. Shirley Beyer, 30, was the other driver in a 1954 car with minor damage. A second crash at 10th and Osage involved Walter Herbaldsheimer and Edith Johnson. pickup damage $50 and car $125.
