Colorado Boys Ranch mirrors Boys Town pattern near La Junta
In La Junta Colorado a Boys Ranch opened nearly eight years ago for youths with no home or place to go. It follows Cal Farley's and Boys Town models with 75 residents aged 10 to 14, supervised dormitories, and a policy of keeping them until 18 or high school completion. The facility has 86 cattle 30 horses 90 hogs 40 sheep and four goats with the boys raising all beef and pork.
