Sidney City Council Proceedings 1968 Liquor License Vote
The Sidney Nebraska council met December 9 1968 and listened to Decker's Market Inc request for a package liquor license. Liquor holders and grocers opposed the license with petitions and ministers present. The council disapproved the license by roll call vote with Elwood Bauman Hessle Koch and Larabee voting yes. The meeting covered bids for waste packer body truck and two police cars and approved several resolutions including flood plan study and a gas rate study. An executive session preceded the liquor vote.
