Final cattle drive ends Jim Daniels Western era
Buffalo Gap to Crawford drive in November draws crowds as rancher Jim Daniels ends a 12 day 90 mile cattle trek. A preacher, trail boss Wayne Burgess, and 7 drovers manned the trek with meals from a Crawford bank chuck wagon. Daniels retires to focus on antique collecting as his cattle move to new spreads.
