William Wilcoxson a 36 year old Texas oil field worker was found guilty by an all male Cheyenne County District Court jury of abducting a 19 year old Sidney girl on September 30 taking her to the country where she was hurt sentencing deferred for at least ten days and a retrial motion was indicated by the defense.
Sixteen year old Eugene Frerichs was in good condition at Memorial Hospital after a shotgun discharged in a car while hunting rabbits near Sidney. The blast entered his arm between the wrist and elbow causing a severe wound.
