Luella Harrison daughter of Ed Harrison formerly of Sidney and Potter died at her Lincoln home after a brief illness. She was 19 years old, attended Sidney High School, and moved with her family to Lincoln over a year ago. Funeral services were held from St Patrick church yesterday at 10 a.m. Mrs Paul Bundy of Kimball is a sister.

District Court Term Ends After Mixed Jury Verdicts
The district court term ended yesterday with jury dismissal and the hint that juries might be recalled after year start to hear unfinished cases. Death was attributed to shock from a fractured shoulder after a fall at her home on Monday evening. Relatives said she tripped over an open door then reached for a bottle of milk on the front porch. Drunken Drivers Lose Licenses Rule Clarified
State Engineer Tilley announced that any driver convicted of drunken driving will lose their license for one year regardless of the judge’s remarks. Municipal ordinance offenses may lead to shorter revocation. The rule applies to manslaughter with a car, drunken driving, certain felonies, hit and run, false statements, and three reckless driving offenses in a year.

NERA To Quit Work Saturday

Nebraska penitentiary officials said Orville Childers and William Bowman were dressed in within an hour of arrival in custody of Sheriff W. W. Schulz Monday night. They are to serve life terms for the murder of William F Moore. Also in custody was E W Shaffer, who must serve a one year term for forgery. R. H Rose accompanied Schulz and helped deliver the prisoners to the penitentiary.

Cheyenne and Deuel county turkey growers will ship prime birds to the Christmas market this Saturday December 11. Dressed birds will be received by the North Platte Valley Poultry Marketing association. Birds will be received from 8am to evening with a preference for forenoon delivery. Any turkey grower may join the association at nominal cost when his turkeys are received. Shipment is part of a cooperative plan. about 60,000 dollars worth of birds will be sent to eastern markets over Saturday and Monday.

Hartington Man Dies In Hospital Thursday
George Lindemann aged 59 of Hartington died in a local hospital after about ten days as a patient. He was a retired farmer and the brother in law of C H Feldman of Gurley and uncle to Henry and Ernest Blome. His remains were returned to Hartington for services and interment with Rice Funeral Service in charge of local arrangements.
