Two Criminal Cases Heard By Judge Kuns
District Judge John Kuns heard two criminal cases Tuesday morning. A bad check charge against Richard Bauer was dismissed because the witnesses did not appear. Tori the Elder, on probation for forgery conviction, was charged with breaking probation and sentenced to two years in the State Reformatory at Bancaln.

Thompsons Sell Photo Studio to Vern Draper
The Thompson Photo Studio at 844 11th Avenue will be taken over next Tuesday by LaVern Draper. Draper buys from Ralph and Mrs. Thompson who ran the business for fifteen years and will stay on for at least a month while Draper maintains the current stock and operations. The Thompsons plan to move to the San Diego area for health reasons after 1947 roots and a downtown shop since 1952.

Governor Displays 1075-Pound Steer at State Capitol

Bus and Truck Collision West of Sunol Causes $600 Damages
A bus and a truck collided at 8:20 pm Wednesday on Highway 30 one mile west of Sunol. The truck driver Floyd A Irwin 24 Route 1 Sidney sustained a minor finger injury. The truck spilled 20 bushes of wheat. the bus driver Donald L Ostrom 36 Cheyenne escaped unharmed. Damages estimated at 350 to 400 for the bus and 150 for the truck.

Intersection collision causes minor damage in Sidney
Police report a Wednesday accident at 12 43 p m at 10th and Spruce with a 1951 Plymouth driven by Pamela J Puffer and a 1952 Chevrolet driven by Corrine F Nelson. Puffer was turning left onto Spruce as Nelson traveled south on 10th. Damages were estimated at 30 dollars to the Plymouth and 25 dollars to the Nelson car.

Cheyenne County voters narrowly opposed wheat referendum with 225 No and 147 Yes among 1,500 eligible. 31 ballots pending. Trailer Destroyed in Highway Mishap East of Lodge Pole
On U S Route 30 about a half mile east of Lodge Pole an accident destroyed a small trailer owned by Leon Lafler of Sidney. Lafler, en route to Lincoln with his family, tried to pass a truck hauling a combine. The trailer hooked the header on the combine and was wrecked. no one was injured. The truck driver was James E Goodwin, 55, of Tonkawa Oklahoma. The combine damage is estimated at about 50 dollars.

The total number of nuclear tipped intercontinental ballistic missiles planned for Nebraska rises to 109.
