Potter News Class Of 1941 Reunion And Community News
The Potter area reports the Potter class of 1941 held a reunion at Legion Park with picnic, school tours, and a barbecue hosted by the Andersons and Herboldsheimers. Mrs. Harry Stanley of Vancouver died Friday after months of ill health, survived by husband, three sons, a daughter, and extended family. Descendants of Mr and Mrs Mads Larson gathered at Legion Park for an annual picnic with many Potter and Sidney residents listed as attendees. St Pauls Lutheran Church did a Mission Festival and planning for a float in Potter Day parade, plus Walther League and Ladies’ auxiliary activities. Various local families welcomed new births, marked birthdays, and noted hospital stays, travel, and visiting relatives from Denver, Greeley, and other towns. Community members offered condolences for Mr James Neverkla and assisted with a stubble fire. A 40 et 8 unit meeting discussed Pearl Harbor memorial fundraising for Nebraska veterans.
