Ice cream festival aids church fund. fire destroys shop
Last Thursday evening the ice cream festival at G. W. Shepherd's drew about 75 people and raised nearly $20 for church construction. A fire destroyed W. R. Garman's blacksmith shop ten miles south, with an estimated loss of $150. Mr and Mrs John Meyers welcomed a daughter born at their home Thursday morning.
