Lindbergh Dies at 72 in Hawaii Home

Charles A Lindbergh known as the Lone Eagle died of cancer in Hawaii at age 72 with wife Anne Morrow Lindbergh and son Land present. He spent eight days in Hawaii after a month at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for lymphatic cancer and wished to die there.

Northside Recreation Program Ends With A Bang

The Northside Recreation Program concluded after a month of indoor and outdoor games for ages five and up. About 85 children joined activities in Sioux Villa TH with chess, volleyball, archery, flag football, croquet, and field trips to local sites. Organizers hope Sidney’s City summer program will absorb the effort.
