Weather Darkens With Aerial Fireworks Strike
Last Thursday a dark cloud covered the section as a storm brewed and a firework display lit the night. Friday brought an electrical storm of unusual intensity prompting residents to reflect on mortality while the Phillips house chimney was demolished and Miss Kate was knocked down but recovered. Fences trees and stock were hit broadly, yet by Saturday the area returned to normal and its smile returned.
