Co operative Marketing Expanding Across Farm Regions
The cooperative movement in grain marketing has grown from a concept to a widespread practice with over 3 000 farmers elevators and more than 500 000 farmers served. Wheat pools formed since 1920 show rapid expansion across states, totaling 16 by 1924, with 1925 volumes reaching 750 million dollars for 520 000 members. Sidney, while not booming, shows steady growth and a bright outlook for the city’s future.
