Robert F. Smith 28 was sought in Craig Colorado for check writing. Sidney police on Friday watched for him or his car with no success. At 7 10 a m Saturday officers watching arrested Smith as he drove by the station. He waived extradition later Saturday and Craig officials were notified.

Oiler Ohio Oil Co announces its O’Connell No. 3 well near Lorenzo in the O’Connell Field as the fifth test in the pool with a drill stem test in the J sand showing 110 feet oil plus 60 feet water and mud, while top bench tests hint at better oil recovery. Zephyr Drilling Co reports its Scherer No. 1 in Cheyenne County abandoned as a duster at 5,300 feet. T. E. Kokjer Funeral Held This Afternoon

Funeral services for Thomas E. Kokjer 64 of Sidney were held at Christ Episcopal Church with burial in Sidney Greenwood Cemetery. Kokjer headed Kokjer Motor Co since 1932 and served in World War I. Survivors include wife Isobel three children and several relatives. Memorials are for the Cheyenne County Hospital Fund.
