A memory book honoring Mrs. Elizabeth Barrett was placed in Nancy Fawcett Memorial library. The 1978 membership reached 46 paid members. dues are 3.25 for adults and 1.00 for juniors. Jay Noble, Sidney High sophomore, departs for Finland as a Rotary Exchange student for one year. He will live with the Martti Peltoner family in Lapua and attend school after a three day language and culture seminar. Noble will travel from Denver to New York to Helsinki via a group of 66 U S exchange students and plans to visit surrounding Nordic countries.

McElroy’s watercolor portrait honors her grandmother Newella Elder.
