Grand Island Family Injured In Highway Crash
Mrs. Jack Donald and her children Bill and Peggy from Grand Island were badly injured when their car collided with a truck driven by Harry Unsicker of Fleming Colorado about a mile west of Sundl. All three were taken to Roche hospital. Bill’s condition was serious with brain concussion and possible skull fracture. The mother and daughter were badly bruised. The Donalds had been returning from California. The car was completely demolished.

Sheep Die From Cane Poison in Radcliffe Pasture
Thirty head of sheep owned by S. Radcliffe died after grazing on volunteer cane in a pasture south of town. The flock, fed in winter from cane, encountered prussic acid in new growth.
