Mrs. C. C. Rush aged 72, sister of the late Thomas B. OConnell of Sidney, died Monday at her Hastings home. Survived by her son Donald of Hastings and four grandchildren. She and her husband ran the Sidney Tractor and Machinery Co for years and moved to Hastings about 15 years ago. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Hastings with Mrs. OConnell in attendance.

Louis J. Haack 75 longtime Lodgepole resident died at his home after 37 years in the town. Funeral services set for Monday 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Church in Lodgepole with Rev. Norman Schroeder officiating. burial in Pleasant View Cemetery. Survived by wife Fannie Dickenson Haack, three daughters, three sons, eight stepchildren, 31 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a sister and brother. He was born March 19 1882 in Lincoln and moved from Oshkosh to Lodgepole in 1920 retiring there in 1945.
