Nebraska grain stocks on July 1 1966 fell across major commodities with total storage at 10.8 million tons 13 percent below a year earlier. Wheat depletions at 24.1 million bushels lowest since 1952. corn stocks 218 million bushels smallest since 1957. oats and rye rose slightly. National totals show wheat at 536 million bushels smallest since 1952 with off farm holdings down 41 percent.
