Pioneer Frank Zalesky Dies at 87 in Lodge Pole Area
Frank Zalesky 87 a pioneer homesteader and long time Lodge Pole resident died last Saturday at his daughter’s North Platte home after five months of illness. Born in Czechoslovakia May 12 1847 he married Mary Ludvicek in 1872. The family settled in Kansas 1877 then moved to this vicinity in 1887 taking a homestead southwest of Lodge Pole. Funeral Monday at Lodge Pole Methodist Church with Rev Carl Goldstein. Burial in Bohemian Cemetery south of Sunol.
