Weeklong District Court session ends with varied verdicts
Judge Grimes presided over a full week of district court in Sidney disposing numerous cases. A jury awarded R T L Davis 6241.98 against the City of Sidney over the old electric plant bonds. Other matters included fines for blue sky violation, concealed weapon, several foreclosures and quiet title actions, multiple divorces and partitions, and cases continuing or set for later term. The session adjourned with Judge Grimes planned to return after the county court adjourns.

Sidney Distributing Point Opens New Sidney Site
The Sidney branch of the Oliver Chilled Plow Works signs a five year lease for a new 66 by 182 building on north Rose street, one block west of the present location. Eight to ten employees will be kept on, with Mr. Deninger as manager and Silver Jensen as cashier, conducting wholesale business from the heart of a rich agricultural field.

Ten Buicks In West Yard Fire Catch Switch Engine
