Pfizer Hints Bigger Plan For Sidney Hops Plant
Pfizer’s 1968 annual report signals expansion for its Sidney Nebraska hops plant. The Sidney facility, acquired recently, will boost production of Redi-Hops hop concentrate used in beer, enabling faster post harvest processing to retain flavor. Pfizer foresees strong 1969 prospects amid diversification into chemicals, consumer goods and materials.
