Northside 4-H Club Led By Ray Henke In Dalton Area
The Northside 4-H Club in northern Cheyenne County is led by Ray Henke of Dalton in his seventh year. Assistants Steve Hopkins Jay Peters and Elwin Linton bring eight, eight, and two years of experience respectively. Members span 15 miles east to west with 35 currently enrolled, peak 42 in 1972, ages 9 to 18, including 13 girls. They pursue eight projects and have a long history of championships, ribbons, and community activities such as shows, demonstrations, public speaking, and festival displays.
