A special sale is planned for next Saturday April 11 at the Sidney Livestock Sales Pavilion with an estimated 1300 to 1500 head in the ring. Cattle from Wyoming Colorado and Nebraska include top feeders Cheyenne County consignments. A 310 head whiteface calf consignment from a Wyoming ranch is listed. Sugar beet growers get first 1963 payment in April
Great Western Sugar will issue a 7,955,900 payment to beet growers on April 13 as the first additional payout on the 1963 crop. Frank A. Kemp, the president, said the average payment will be 1.51 per ton for the Colorado Nebraska Wheatland area and 1.59 in Montana and northern Wyoming.
