A 55 voice choir will perform Dubois cantata from 2 to 3 PM on Good Friday under Mrs Hjalmer Carlson of Chappell with four Denver soloists Marjorie Young Gladys Lawson Donald Madden and Robert Lansing. Admission is free with a free will offering to cover production costs.

CAA Officials To Visit Lodgepole Airport
Aviation Safety Agents from the Civil Aeronautics Administration, North Platte, will visit Lodgepole Municipal Airport on April 17, 1952. They will administer written, flight and practical exams for Airman Certificates, inspect aircraft, airports and ground and flight school facilities, and consult with aviation groups or individuals. Mrs. Martin Christensen, 64, a well known former resident of Lodgepole and Sunol, died at Loveland Colorado Sunday morning after about two weeks illness. Funeral services set for Tuesday at Loveland and 2 PM Wednesday at Lodgepole Lutheran Church. Burial in Lodgepole Cemetery. Survivors include widower and three sons Carlos Angora Nebraska Sidney Loveland Dwight Casper. Kenneth predeceased in 1938.

Seventeen errant drivers were reported by T Men observers from April 1 through Sunday, April 6, with violations including one speeding, eight running stop signs, one illegal left turn, one cutting in ahead, one reckless driving, six no arm signals, and two double parking. Delno Karr of the Junior Chamber of Commerce said the first week was naturally slow as observers adjust. He predicted violations will rise then fall as the campaign aims to reduce hazards and improve driver behavior in Sidney. The Jaycees noted letters sent to offenders and pledged ongoing weekly reports by The Telegraph.

Crash Victim In Very Critical Condition
Lewis Sterling twenty seven was reported in very critical condition by his physician after a Saturday night crash on Highway 19 near the Plains Drive-In Theatre. His companion Howard Hurst of Lodgepole sustained bruises and was kept in the hospital overnight. Witnesses said the 1950 Oldsmobile driven by Sterling was traveling north at high speed, left the road, rolled over one and a half times, and both occupants were thrown clear.
