Ferry accident halts Albion river crossing and water rights case
Hon J M Pierce and Andrew Lounes bury were passengers to Mountain Home for a court case over disputed water rights. The Cassia County telephone line is faulty. Norman Isachson, chief stockholder, visited to inspect weak spots. J R Howell repaired his ferry after derricks supporting the cable rotted, dropping the line into the water, delaying the Albion Minidok stage. The boat was moored ashore with traffic diversions in effect while repairs continue and a new route via Water Canon is used.
