H Darrah of Redding California arrived in this city Sunday and will stay through the summer visiting his brother Jog Darrah and son Ben Darrah. He notes hay cutting back home and eating new potatoes peas radishes and gooseberries, but he still prefers Idaho yet he likes California.

Justice Court Acquits Mason in Drunken Disorder Case

Albert Mason was acquitted after three witnesses proved intoxication but muddled his efforts to settle a dispute. Edward Beall caused a disturbance at Stockarea Cafe and, after running the Jap cook out, was fined 5.00. William Landon received a 5.00 fine for drunken and disorderly conduct and, lacking funds, agreed to board with Mr. Jones for ten days.

Visit to Shoshone Falls by Clark survey party

A party led by Drumiens arove consisting of Surveyor C. C. Stevenson and assistant from Boise Attorney Norman M. Buick and J. E. Lane of Shoshone visited Shoshone Falls on Tuesday. They represent W. A. Clark interests and will survey Clark holdings ahead of a federal court hearing in Boise next week between Hollister and Clark et al.

Happily Wedded in Shoshone as Tessie Shiver Wed

The wedding of Osborn Kimpton to Tessie Shiver took place Thursday evening April 17 1902 at the bride’s mother's home Mrs. Kimpton. The Rev McCain officiated. The bride grew up in the community and was beloved in society. Kimpton is praised for character and friends in Shoshone extend congratulations. The couple will reside in Pocatello where the groom works for the Oregon Short Line Railway Company.

Local citizens organize new baseball team at depot

Judge Fritz set bonds at 3000 dollars and remanded him to county jail while Greeks injuries recover in Pocatello hospital. At the depot last Wednesday evening a group of baseball enthusiasts formed a team led by captain Pick ton with players Bronson Holden Dill Hurlbert Swope Emerson Herman Brown aiming to be among the best in the state.

Round Up Starts April 24 With Local Riders
