Little Jimmie Wolters Passes at Early Age
The community mourns Julius Henry Wolters son nicknamed Jimmie who died after a five day illness. Funeral held March 1 at 4 pm conducted by Rev Wolfsdorf of Yoakum as businesses closed and schools dismissed in respect. He was a bright Sunday School pupil with four uncles serving as pallbearers and heartfelt community sympathy expressed.

Mrs Bertha Effenberger dies after flu pneumonia
Mrs Bertha Effenberger aged 88 years five months two days died Monday after a brief decline from flu pneumonia. Survivors include husband Frank Effenberger Jr and four children Frat age in Shiner Hospital Sedonia Isabel Ewalt aged 15 and 6. Also four brothers and three sisters with one deceased father. Funeral Wednesday morning at the Catholic Cemetery with Father Wolf officiating.
