Funeral Services For Mrs C Moeller

Mrs Otto B Moeller nee Emma Breitschopf of Houston died June 16 1969. Funeral rites were held in Shiner and Moulton with Requiem Mass at St Josephs Church in Moulton and burial in Moulton Catholic Cemetery. Surviving daughters Eleanor Lamon and Elaine Henry both of Houston a son Alvin Moeller of Corpus Christi a brother William Breitschopf of Moulton five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr Moeller died November 15 1968.

Lavaca County Farm Bureau Queen Contest Set

The Lavaca County Farm Bureau Queen contest will be July 15 1969 at 8 00 p m in Hallettsville High School Auditorium. Eligibility requires single status age 16 by Sept 1 1969 and not over 22 by Sept 1 1969 plus being daughter or sister of an active Farm Bureau member in production. A Little Miss contest for ages 3 to 8 is also planned. Entry deadline is July 11 1969 with applications at the Lavaca County Farm Bureau office 204 N Texana Hallettsville TX 77964.

Rites Set June 9 for Mrs Angelina Seitz

Funeral services for Mrs. Angelina Seitz of Yoakum Texas were held June 9 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Rev. D I Dalton officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery. She died June 7 in Tulsa Oklahoma after a lengthy illness. She was 69. Surviving are two daughters, three brothers, two sisters, nine grandchildren and a son-in-law. Pallbearers included nephews and relatives from Victoria Houston and Shiner.

The Clippers face Corner Store Team of Ottine with Jerry Kresta pitching at 8 15 p m Friday June 20. Saturday 21 May host a possible SOTAL game with Louise at 8 15 p m or travel to Louise if lighting is solved. Sunday 22 June the Clippers travel to Gonzales for a non league tilt at 3 p m at Independence Park.

Services Held For Emil H Blaschke

Emil Henry Blaschke 69 died suddenly June 14 1969 in Shiner Texas. Funeral services June 16 at 8 45 a m and 9 a m in Shiner Catholic Church with Requiem Mass offered by Rev Patrick Marron. He is survived by his wife Marie two sons Robert and Emil P Blaschke a daughter Mary Koncaba four brothers and three sisters two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Burial followed at Buffington Funeral Home chapel rosary read the prior evening. Born March 5 1900 at St John Fayette County to John and Alouisia Blaschke. He married Marie Klesel November 10 1930 near Hallettsville. The couple lived on a Witting area farm before moving near Shiner. The community offers condolences to the family.
