Shiner Chamber Barbecue Hosts 300 Guests and Local Leaders

Three hundred attendees mobbed the Shiner Chamber of Commerce barbecue as guests from Cuero Hallettsville Yoakum Gonzales Moulton and other towns joined Shiner officials for a day of praise and tribute. The event highlighted the chamber’s 1936 37 activities including the agricultural fair 4 H clubs growth Christmas lighting and WPA road projects with leaders H H Ochs Benno Du Menil and Rep Paul Boethel in attendance.
