Tri-District Ginners Convention Set for Shiner July 13
The Tri-District Ginners Convention will meet in Shiner on Tuesday July 13 bringing together ginners from the 15th 18th and 19th districts. Louis Trautwein of Shiner invited the 1937 meeting to Shiner and this year John C. Thompson secretary of the Texas Cotton Ginners Association will attend. Trautwein must be notified by July 10 of attendees and families from the above districts.

A large crowd welcomed Rev A E Rector and his wife on a return visit to their former Me thodist charges in Shiner and Hallettsville Last Sunday. Rev Guyon led about 80 Hallettsville members. Rev J W Burns of the local Baptist church joined the services. Mrs Wm Wendtland Jr and Miss Evelyn Dreyer shared in the musical program with Mrs J L Mikulik and Miss Loretta Guyon.
