C L Vogelsang and family of Brenham were guests in the M Vogelsang home last week.
J E Hranitzky delivered the season’s first bale at 10 am Tuesday. The 576 pound middling bale, ginned free by John Kaspergin, sold for 18 cents a pound to Wolters Bros Co. Hranitzky, from near Mt Olive, received $25 cash from the Chamber of Commerce and a Gazette subscription.

His health has been poor all year yet he enjoyed a home coming and a rare Sunday drive.
