Base Ball Dance At Rock Site Park Next Saturday

A benefit dance for the Base Ball Boys will be held at Rock Site Park next Saturday night. Only waltzes and two steps will be danced. The Buick Six will be given away at 11 o clock. Grounds admission is 25 cents and 10 cents.

Death of Lillie Novak at Fourteen in Grief

Lillie Novak aged fourteen years and ten months died Saturday night. Funeral from her father John Novak residence Monday at 9 am, services at the Catholic Church at 10 am, cemetery services by Father Wolf. Survived by father, sister Vla sta Novak, a step sister Emily and two step brothers Alfred and Leonard. Burial rites conducted with flower bearers and pall bearers named. Heartfelt sympathy extended.

Local Lawyer A C Koepke Dies After Illness in Corpus Christi

A C Koepke died June 21 1923 in Corpus Christi after an illness of a year. He was 60. He leaves a wife Katie Dittmar and two children Oscar J and Mrs Hertha Kerridge plus four brothers and three sisters. He practiced law for 37 years, lived in Warrenton Eiinger Shiner and finally Corpus Christi where he formed lasting friendships. The Gazette extends sympathy to the bereaved. He is not dead but passed into a larger life in a serener sphere.

After four days of strenuous celebration Shiner finishes with two days of cleanup. A large crowd watched Base Ball toys beat La Grange 5 to 3. Shriner residents joined Yoakum parade while others stayed home feeling like a banquet in a deserted hall.

Miss Agnes Gillig Returns Home After Visit
