Accident to Ed Wangemann In Funeral Errand

Ed Wangemann lost all toes except the small one when his foot was run over near Schulenburg while en route to a funeral. He was hindered by rheumatism and could not walk without a cane. The accident occurred last Thursday. he returned home last Saturday and is as well as can be expected.

Couple Wed at High Noon in Shiner

At noon on Thursday December 26 1907 Albert Wilkins of Galveston and Miss Koline McMorrey of Shiner were married. Rev Chatman and Rev Colier officiated. The bride is widely known and beloved in the community and the groom, longtime superintendent of the S P Docks in Galveston, will make his home there. The writer wishes the couple happiness and prosperity as they begin married life. The bridal party accompanied them to the depot for their journey to the near home. Rex a mse ose Mae.

Santa Claus and a miniature ship sit atop the upper scene, all crafted by the Deutsch family and their daughter Minnie. The exhibit blends art and craft, inviting guests to study every detail of the handcrafted scene.

Death of Charles Kram at age 18 near Shiner

Carl Kram son of Jo Kram died last Thursday at his father's home two miles east of Shiner. He battled slow fever typhoid and diptheria for nearly two months before dying. Funeral held Friday January 83rd at 2:30 PM conducted by Rev. Konzak with hymns by the choir and Shiner Mannerchor. Bereaved family receives community sympathy.
