Rudolph Jaeggli of Moulton died at his home Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock aged 64 years 9 months and 5 days. Highway 109-Yoakum-Moulton-Flatonia to be surfaced
Lavaca County officials, after talks with the State Highway Commission, report that the department's chief engineer says the topping contract will be let next spring. Work would start at the Fayette Lavaca line and finish at Yoakum, with hopes for Flatonia to connect with Highway 3. Funds have limited completion possible, so spring is the target to advance Highway 109.
