Mrs Emma Schoenvogel dies after long Christian life
Mrs Emma Schoenvogel aged 82 years 7 months 4 days died at 4 15 a.m. last Sunday in a local hospital. Born January 11 1861 in Anhalt Dassau Germany she came to America at age eight and lived in Nelsonville later marrying D Schoenvogel of Welcome. She leaves four sons one daughter thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren with two grandsons in foreign service. Funeral held August 16 from her son Henrys home to Charlottenburg Church with Rev W Flachmeier officiating, burial beside her husband in Charlottenburg cemetery.
