Mrs Hy Stindt Leaves for Pasteur Institute
Mrs Hy Stindt departed last Friday for the Pasteur Institute in Austin for rabies treatment after a cat bite. While feeding eight cats, an accident during supper prep led to a bite. her husband euthanized all eight cats and sent heads to Austin, where one head tested rabid. She reports being pleasantly located and doing nicely.

Death of Baby Louis Mucka in Gonzales Texas
The two year old Louis Mucka died after chewing many cold tablet pills while left at home during cotton picking. He grew stiff and died despite hospital care overnight.
