Contractors E W Sonntag with Frank Tomasko in charge of painting and papering. Frank Winkler provided electrical work. The plant employs 14 workers, with six extras on the day of the tour, processing Shiner Pride ice cream and butter. Nearby, Henry F Ehlers’ strawberry garden supplied fruit. 38 1 2 percent gallons arrived Friday. The grounds feature landscaped lawns, shrubbery, and inviting garden seating, creating a restful, attractive setting around Shiner.
