Six 4-H Home Ec Scholarships Offer National Awards
Six eight hundred dollar scholarships will be awarded next November to 4 H Club girls majoring in home economics and enrolled in their junior year. Each state selects one candidate whose record goes to the National 4 H Service Committee in Chicago for final administration. Two scholarships are funded by Sperry and Hutchinson Sunbeam and Whirlpool Foundation. Applicants must be current or former 4 H members with at least three years in 4 H and a strong scholastic and 4 H record plus need for aid. Deadline in Chicago is October 20 and winners are announced at the National 4 H Club Congress November 26 30.
