The village clerk announces registration hours under Michigan Election Law. Registration is allowed on most days except Sundays and holidays, but names may not be registered between the thirtieth day before a regular or primary election and the election day. If the thirtieth day falls on a weekend or holiday, registration resumes on the next full working day.
In townships or villages without daily clerk hours the board may require the clerk to be at a designated place for registration applications for up to five days. I will be at my home 101 Orchard Ave. Only an actual resident at the time of registration who is entitled to vote shall be entered in the registration records.
