Firefighters Battle Two Farm and Trailer Fires in Chippewa Township
The Shepherd Fire Department responded to a trailer park east and north of Broomfield Hospital where a fuel line caused a large trailer home fire, destroyed on arrival. The same week, January 19, the department rushed to Elmer Feltman farm but arrived too late to save the building as St. Louis firefighters assisted while Shepherd stood by.
