The Shepherd Extension met at Mrs Walter Deans home with Mrs Mort Balcom as co host. Vice Chairman Mrs Walter Dean called the meeting to order after the regular business session. Mrs L C Hoover and Mrs Katie Cohoon volunteered to locate.
The May gathering shifted to Mrs Cliff Harry who led the lesson on School Taxation. The next meeting is set for February 22 at the home of Mr Keith Freeze with Mrs Tom Steele Sr as co hostesses.
Shepherd Briefs note Mr and Mrs Zennon Barrera spent two weeks in Detroit visiting son Arthur Barrera and family and relatives including Arthur Aluesseba and family Mrs Donald Leonard and Mrs Edwin Frisbey with sons Johnnie and Jimmy. Grandmother Mrs Orval Chaney hosted Wed guests. L C Hoover and Sherrie Childers hosted Sunday evening. Mrs Okla Baughman visiting daughter at Harold Hughes family winter home at Arnold Lake north of Harrison.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weese and son Douglas of Carson City visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Lale Stalter and family. Mrs. Grace Zingery of rural Shepherd spent Sunday afternoon with her daughter. Mr. and Mrs. George Raab and Mrs. Virgil McArthur had Sunday evening dinner with Mrs. Harrison Lilly.
