Village meeting discusses sewer hook ups and new fire board
At the regular meeting George Wright asks about building on a fifty foot lot and sewer or septic options. Swenson and Virgil Botts attend. villagers consider sewer connection if North Fourth Street gets a line. Clerk to contact Francis Engineering Co. and Attorney Fortino for next meeting on November 16 1964. State Highway letter read. Deputy clerk-treasurer office discussed with Mrs Coughlin. Fire department needs and a fire board proposed with two council members to be appointed next meeting. Bills presented and motion carried.

Village meeting approves payments and discusses decorations
On Wednesday December 9 1964 the village council approved warrants for numerous payees ledgers. Christmas decorations were discussed and tabled for the next meeting. The clerk was directed to approach W S Darley Co about a loaner light while adjustments to the newly purchased unit are made. A 2000 transfer from the general fund to the law fund was approved. The meeting adjourned with motions by Zimmerman and Weaver.
