New Super Products Plant Nears Opening

Over 100000 in orders on hand push the new Super Products Plant toward mid September start. Manager Ray Amburn expects at least fifteen workers to begin with, possibly more as operations ramp up. The old plant is to be demolished after the new building is finished and more facilities will replace those lost to a summer fire. New markets have been found, with growth limited only by material supply.

Isabella Democrats At State Convention Delegation

A full Isabella County delegation attended the Democratic State Convention in Grand Rapids. Dr. William Colburn of Central Michigan University worked on the platform drafting committee, contributing to the Educational plank. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Moskowitz of Mt. Pleasant organized seating for the banquet Friday evening.

Justice Theodore Souris emerges as a leading young lawyer in the state after being nominated for election to the Supreme Court by the Democratic State Convention.
