Dr. E J Brenner of the Central Michigan District Health Department commended partners in Isabella County for the X-ray and diabetes detection program. City Manager W L Collins was singled out for facility access, while women's groups aided patient registration. Consumer Power provided free services, and WCEN plus Daily Times News and Shepherd Argus publicized the effort. Final totals: 2 805 X rays and 2 530 blood tests were completed.
