9/11 Remembrance Event in Shafter Honors Local Efforts
A Shafter community 9/11 remembrance highlighted Anita Aldaco of Ever lasting Invitations for initiating the event with balloons and support. Cathy Morgan led planning, with Richland District volunteers, ROTC from West High, and Shafter Firefighters recognized for their roles. The ceremony featured students, a moving Taps performance, prayers, and gratitude to volunteers and God. Additional notes mention CPS mandated reporter training and local health initiatives.
