Community Breakfast Funds Target Local Scoreboard Drive
About 3500 residents are expected at the Shafter Community Breakfast at Memorial Hall on Saturday. Dan Loewen, general chairman, said ticket sales so far and community support should reach the 1700 goal for an electric scoreboard at Shafter High School football field.
