The Shafter City Council discusses applying for designation of an enterprise zone as the current zone expires October 2, 2010. With renewal not viable, staff urges earliest possible application. Paul Gappmayer will teach Physical Science at Richland Junior High. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a California State Science Credential. Previously he taught four years in Greenfield School District and one year at Mira Monte High School. He lives in Bakersfield and enjoys travel.
