John Woods Sr. Funeral Held in Shafter Grave Services
John Woods Sr. died after a long illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday October 22 at Shafter Memorial Park with Rev. John Davis officiating. Burial followed at the same cemetery. Woods born November 6 1911 in Missouri was a farm laborer. Survivors include wife Larabell of Shafter two sons Lonnie and Jimmy two daughters Connie Barnes and Diane Cash one brother Joe Woods three sisters May Pasley Dean Pressley Goldie Walters and fourteen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons Johnny and Tommy Woods. Peters Funeral Home handled arrangements.
