September filming breaks record for third straight month
Filming activity set a new monthly record for September driven by the feature The Brave wrapped in Red Mountain. An IMAX Navy Air Museum shoot at California City used a spinning F-18 cockpit prop. A vodka ad at Trona Pinnacles and a Peugeot commercial near Edmonston Pumping Plant Road involved pyrotechnics. Kern County Fire Department supervised safety. Mesa Marin benefited as a Honda commercial led repaint and restriping of half the track.
