Chevron to offer full service in Shafter after Uni-Cal closure
Shafter gains a full service Chevron replacing the closed Uni-Cal on Central Valley Highway. Owner Monty Haddad explains the switch serves long-time customers, keeps prices stable, and expands hours and staff. The station now offers propane and seven-day hours from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Haddad, a Bakersfield resident since 1995, supports his family including four children.
